Last week we were brought in to create the florals at The Orangery at Kensington Palace, for Goffs London sale on the eve of Royal Ascot. The focus was on a small, select group of top class horses reflecting the quality of racing during that week. The event became one of the most exciting additions to the global sales calendar and achieved mass media coverage.
We were asked to create informal, wild and loose designs, in pinks, greens and lilacs, reflective of a summer garden party for the most privileged of guests and flat racing's biggest players. We used a mass of seasonal foliage in huge stone urns, towering foxgloves, lupins and delphiniums, blousy hydrangea and peonies, plus delicate alchemilla mollis and lavender.
"I wanted to say a massive THANK YOU once again to you and your lovely team for doing such a marvellous job. We really were so impressed, you are all such a pleasure to work with and so helpful even under pressure. You really did deliver, over and above what was promised and all the arrangements were incredibly generous. The feedback from the client was also very positive and the event overall has been perceived as a huge success."
