This is it. The very last Passion to Profit episode.

After 118 weeks… over two years of weekly conversations, I’m changing the podcast name to something that better reflects where this work has gone and where it’s headed. If you’ve been with me from the beginning, thank you. If you’re new, welcome to what I hope will feel like the start of something really exciting.

Why I Never Actually Liked the Name

I’ve never actually liked the name Passion to Profit.

I know, I know. I’ve been using it for over two years. But when I started, it was the best name I could think of at the time. It seemed to resonate with several people I spoke to, and I thought, I can always change it later. The most important thing is to start.

And I’m so glad I did start, rather than waiting for perfection.

This is episode 118. That’s 118 weeks. Over two years of weekly conversations with you. Could you imagine if I’d waited all that time – waited until I had the “perfect” name, the “perfect” positioning – before I started? I wouldn’t have had this opportunity to connect with so many of you. I wouldn’t have been able to get my message out, to have real impact, to understand what really does resonate.

If you go back and listen to episode one (although please don’t!), the difference between there and where I am today is massive. The confidence, the clarity, the understanding of what this work really is… it’s all evolved because I was willing to start before everything felt perfect.

So if you’re holding yourself back from something because it doesn’t feel quite right yet, I really hope this gives you permission to just start. Start with what you have. Start with good enough. You can, and will, evolve.

Why A New Name?

After 118 episodes, I now understand where this podcast is going. I understand the work I’m doing with creative entrepreneurs, and the name needs to reflect that properly.

“Passion to Profit” always felt a bit… generic to me. A bit too “business coach-y.” And definitely cheesy. And whilst there’s nothing wrong with that, it’s not quite what this work has become.

What I’ve always known to be true… and I’ve gently been finding a stronger and clearer voice for it, is that true transformation, the kind that really takes a creative business to succeed, has never been about turning your passion into profit. It’s not about finding some clever way to monetise what you love.

It’s all about building a business from your natural strengths. Understanding what comes easily to you that others genuinely struggle with. Recognising that what you think of as “just how I work” is actually your exceptional value, and then structuring your entire business around those strengths.

And from there, presenting everything you do in a very neat and clean way. Understanding exactly how to find the right clients for what you do brilliantly. Learning to talk about what you do in the most down-to-earth natural way, so it never feels like marketing or selling. Building straightforward systems. And charging properly for all of it.

That’s what the new podcast is about. That’s what this work has always been about, I just didn’t have the right podcast title for it at the beginning.

What This Podcast Does

The heart of this podcast isn’t changing… just the name and an aspect of the focus.

This podcast serves as an entry point. It’s where you start to understand that maybe the reason your business feels hard isn’t because you’re doing something wrong, but because you’ve been trying to build it using frameworks and advice that just weren’t designed for how creative minds really work.

Each episode explores what it means to build a business that genuinely works with who you are. Something that feels completely yours, fully structured around your strengths.

We talk about understanding your natural strengths… the things that come so naturally to you that you barely notice you’re doing them. The things that feel obvious to you but are actually quite exceptional.

We explore building around those strengths… how to structure your business, your services, your pricing, your client relationships, all around what comes easily to you rather than forcing yourself into someone else’s model.

We look at creating real viability, because a creative business that doesn’t make proper money isn’t really a business, it’s an expensive hobby. And you deserve to be fairly rewarded for your work.

And we talk about sustainable growth… scaling in a way that doesn’t burn you out, that doesn’t require you to become someone you’re not, that lets you stay connected to the work you really love doing.

Every episode is designed to be genuinely valuable on its own. Each conversation will give you real insight, real understanding, real ideas in how you’re thinking about yourself as a business owner and your business.

What’s Not Changing

Even though the name is changing, so much about this podcast will stay the same.

You’ll still get these warm, honest conversations every week. I’ll still share what I’m learning in real time, like the Pinterest experiment I’ve been documenting, where I’m showing you both what’s working and what’s completely not working.

I’ll still tell you stories from my own business, from working with clients, from the patterns I’m seeing. What’s working right now, in the moment, specifically for creative businesses. And I’ll still ask you the kinds of questions that make you stop and really think about what you’re building.

Because that’s what this is about. Building businesses we love, doing work we’re proud of, being fairly rewarded for it, and doing it all in a way that feels authentic to who we are.

The Interviews Coming

There will be some interviews in the new year, and I’m excited about this. Hearing other creative entrepreneurs’ stories, their journeys, their transformations… it helps you see what’s possible for you too.

I’m committing to bringing you conversations with people who’ve built exceptional creative businesses by understanding and working with their strengths. Real businesses, real revenue, real sustainability. Never the highlight reel version, but the honest story of how they got there, what they’re focused on right now, and their future plans.

Looking Ahead

There’s a huge amount coming in 2026. This rebrand is just the start of something I’ve been building towards for a long time.

Over the past year, I’ve been working on something behind the scenes. Gathering information, doing research, really understanding what creative entrepreneurs deeply need… not just what I think they need, but what they’re genuinely asking for and what will make the biggest impact to their lives and businesses.

I’ve run so many live sessions this year. I’ve had hundreds of conversations… literally hundreds, in DMs, emails, face to face and online, with my audience, with my peer groups, with creatives who are really struggling and with those who are completely thriving. I’ve watched what works and what doesn’t. I’ve seen the patterns in what people struggle with and, more importantly, what creates real transformation.

What’s come from all of this is something I’m beyond excited about.

It’s a rolling six-month programme… not a quick course, not a four-week intensive, but proper time to transform how you think about yourself and your business. Time for things to really sink in and make a significant difference. It launches next year.

I’m not going into all the details today – that’s not what this episode is about – but I want you to know that this podcast feeds into that programme. Every episode explores concepts, frameworks, and insights that are part of that bigger body of work.

If you think of it this way, the podcast is where you start to see yourself and your business differently. And then, when we get to work directly together over six months, this is where you’ll do the deep work to very much transform your business and all that you’re doing.

Who This Is For

The new podcast… and all the work that sits behind it, is for creative entrepreneurs who’ve built something real.

You’ve been running your business for several years. You have clients, you have a portfolio, you have proven skills.

But you’ve hit a plateau. You’re stuck at a certain revenue level and you can’t quite figure out how to break through. You feel like you’re working really hard but not getting the results you want. You’re constantly second-guessing your pricing, your positioning, your direction.

You look at other people in your industry and wonder what they’re doing that you’re not. You compare yourself and feel like you’re somehow missing something obvious that others seem to have figured out.

I promise you, you’re not missing some secret tactic or strategy. It’s not because you don’t know how to market properly or because you’re not working hard enough.

You’re stuck because you’ve been trying to build your business using advice and frameworks that were never designed for how you actually work. You’ve been trying to fit yourself into someone else’s model of what a “successful business” should look like, and it feels muddled, confusing and at times, incredibly stressful.

It really doesn’t and shouldn’t be that way. What you need is clarity. Real clarity on what makes you exceptional, what your genuine competitive advantage is, how to position yourself so distinctly that premium pricing becomes natural, and how to structure everything around your strengths.

That’s what this podcast fully explores. And that’s what the six-month programme, when we get to work together, will fully transform.

Just in the last few days, I had a series of fascinating conversations where I happened to speak in-depth with four different creative entrepreneurs. Two had retail shops, two had online service businesses in similar industries. I spoke to each of them individually and quite by chance, one from each pair said they were thriving, whilst the other said they were really struggling. Same industries, same economic conditions, completely different experiences.

And I could see exactly what was going on.

That’s exactly what this work addresses. I’ll show you how to create the space (the actual time) to step back and change your business so it works for you. So you can move away from all the noise, focus on learning and implementing the right things… the things that will actually make a difference, and build towards that thriving business rather than the struggling one.

Because what I want almost more than anything is to create a community where you’re surrounded by people on exactly the same journey, with exactly the same purpose. Where we all have each other’s backs, we share ideas collectively, and we grow strong together. I want you to become part of that group who know exactly what they need to do and are taking the right steps towards it.

This is the last Passion to Profit episode, and you know what, it has served us well. I’ve loved creating these conversations with you. But now it’s time for something that more accurately reflects both who I am, who you are and what this work has become.

From next week: The New Podcast.

Same me, same warm conversations, same commitment to giving you real value in every episode. Just a name that fits what we’re building together.

Thank you for being here. Thank you for your time each week. And thank you for being willing to think differently about what’s possible for your creative business.

I’m so excited about what’s ahead.
